Why CODEM?
The Matamoros Economic Development Committee is a Non Profit organization formed in 1989 by local business men with the firm intention of promoting the further economic development of Matamoros and Brownsville.
For more than 18 years CODEM has supported the most important Economic Projects in our region.
Our members are important regional businesses and companies that represent all the different areas of the economic infrastructure of the community.(Custom Brokers, Law Firms, Industrial Parks, Financial Institutions, Industrial Developers, Accounting Firms, Service Providers, Support Industries, Consultants and Economic Organizations among others.)
